So about 3 weeks ago I came down with a really bad infection that required 4 surgeries to get rid of. I currently can’t sit down only laying or standing. so that’s why I won’t be posting much I’m laid up from surgery.

I have checked out a few sports apps for the iPhone and sportsnow has really caught my eye. The app allows you to follow your favorite team and keeps track of the games for you. The design of the app is pretty and runs very smooth. It even allows for in app chat via facebook chat. It’s free in the app store so if your looking for a sports application make sure to check it out.

Shazam is one of my all time favorite applications. Basically you tap the screen it starts listening to the music and it tells you what the music is. Every once in a while it doesn’t get the song but it gets it most the time. There is a free version in the app store that let’s you tag 5 songs a month otherwise you can spend 4.99 to get unlimited tags per month. This app is def worth having so make sure you check it out.

iMobsters is a fun little game that works over the Internet. You basically run missions attack other mobsters make money and grow your mob. The game is completely free to download and play. It’s created by storm8 and they have a bunch of other games like it. Only problem I have found is it isn’t one of those games that you can keep playing and playing when your energy or stamina runs out you have to wait for it to build back up in order to continue playing. Anyway it’s available in the app store if you want to give it a whirl.
